I am an assistant professor at the University of Georgia.
My research interests are:
- Influence of phonetics on phonology
- Speech-perception and its relation to phonology
- Intonation
- Emergent linguistic patterns
- A corpus-based approach to Japanese rap rhymes and imperfect puns
- Experimental approaches to sound symbolism
- Morphology-phonology interface
- A bit of semantics
