I am an assistant professor at the University of Georgia. My research interests are:

  • Influence of phonetics on phonology
  • Speech-perception and its relation to phonology
  • Intonation
  • Emergent linguistic patterns
  • A corpus-based approach to Japanese rap rhymes and imperfect puns
  • Experimental approaches to sound symbolism
  • Morphology-phonology interface
  • A bit of semantics
